As a talented serial writer with unique sensibility and light touch,
and as a one-of-a-kind actor whose activities we can't take our eyes off,
this magazine has been following Umezu-san,
conducting an annual interview to record "Mizuki Umezu's Current Position" (past issues published: Vol.3, Vol.7, Vol.10).

This year, in this issue, we first asked about the production of the official zine "Toge" released in July this year. While looking back on a year of even more fulfilling activities as an actor, Umezu-san generously spoke about his thoughts on acting as a profession and the act of performing.

This is an enjoyable interview where you can vividly feel Umezu-san's emotions as he approaches his creative work, including his current feelings about "Genshiki"'s second performance "Arui wa, Hora" (scheduled for December), an theatrical unit where Mizuki Umezu is involved in scriptwriting, directing, producing, and acting.

The new photoshoot is themed around "a photographer's atelier."
It's full of beautiful photos capturing him taking self-portraits and photographing plants with a retro large-format camera.
Umezu-san, a camera enthusiast who features many photos taken with his own beloved camera in the zine "Toge."
This time, he challenged himself to a photoshoot with a modified camera owned by a photographer, which had an Instax camera attached to a large-format camera.
Enjoy the many beautiful photos that capture his serious gaze through the viewfinder and the tranquil moments of pressing the shutter, breathing with the camera.

Furthermore, the QJ store will be selling a limited edition with a special photo card (approx. B5 size) in limited quantities.
The photo card is composed of Umezu-san's self-portrait Instax photos arranged as seen in the image.
The design will be unveiled at a later date.
