JO1 debuted as a "global boy group" in March 2020. Despite facing the direct impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, they have achieved remarkable success in the rapidly changing entertainment world.

Since their debut, they have embraced the motto "Go to the TOP." Now, as they enter their fifth year of activity, what dreams do they hold, and how are they striving to change the era?

To uncover the current position of the 11 members towards their dream of reaching the "TOP," we asked them: "What does 'TOP' mean to you?", "How close are you to reaching the 'TOP' at this point?", and "What do you need to do to reach the 'TOP'?" We conducted solo interviews totaling over 30,000 characters.

We also feature a discography review of all 8 singles, including the 8th single "HITCHHIKER," which will be released on May 29th. Tsuyachan, author of "I Decided to Rap: A Critical Theory of Female Rappers" and "Alternative R&B Disc Guide," will unravel JO1 from a musical perspective.

The back cover and second feature will focus on "DAIENKAI 2024," a festival of music and comedy. Discussions between Sekai Ozaki (CreepHyp) and Makoto (Yoneda 2000), and Ayuni D (PEDRO) and Gakutensoku will take place, where they will discuss their aspirations for this dream encounter and the chemical reactions brought about by music and comedy.

The third feature will be "T-POP (Thai Pops)," a new culture poised to take over the world. Additionally, interviews with Chou Tokimeki♡Sendenbu, Kazumi Takayama (film "Trapezium"), and Ryo Matsuda x Keisuke Ueda (stage "Touken Ranbu: Shinden Tsuketari Kitan no Soumatou") will be included. A new serialized novel by Akutagawa Prize-winning author Ryohei Machiya, focusing on boy groups, will also begin.

Quick Japan, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, will feature entities that continue to create new excitement. Please look forward to the latest issue, vol. 172.
