Is it wrong that we live in a world where you can't get a job unless you survive this hell?
In the near future of 20XX, university students of the "Ultra Baby Boomer Generation" face a job hunt that is incomparably more intense than today.
Ryosuke Ota, a third-year Kyoto University student unenthusiastic about job hunting, finally gets serious and tackles the job hunt to join "Company Z," a colossal corporation that dominates Japan...
This "job hunting entertainment" vividly depicts the tragedy of job seekers challenging life-or-death selections, such as "OB visits" where they search for alumni while dodging gunfire, "internships" aiming to gain 100,000 followers on social media, "group discussions" engaging in heated debates with seasoned job hunting veterans, and "interview exams" where many job seekers lose their lives. It casts a critical eye on the modern system of mass graduate recruitment!
Born in Shiga Prefecture, graduated from Kyoto University, Faculty of Letters. Debuted in 2012 with "Owari Naki Fuzai" (Endless Absence). In 2019, he won the 2nd Awa Shirasagi Literary Award for "Odoru Aho" (Dancing Fool). His works include "Muno Otoko" (Incompetent Man), "Damu Yaku" (Dam Yak), "Butoukai" (Ball), "Shin Circle Crusher Maki," "Seicho Jidai ni Time Slip Shita node Kakyo Gachi Mitemita" (I Traveled Back to the Qing Dynasty, So I Seriously Tried the Imperial Examination), "Zettai! Akutagawa-sho Jushou Sengen ~Shin Kankaku Bungo Game Book~" (Definitely! Declaration of Akutagawa Prize Victory ~New Sense Literary Master Game Book~), and "Gakureki Kyo no Shi" (Poem of Education Mania).
