Quick Japan vol. 185, releasing on August 25, 2026, will feature RIDDLER, the puzzle-solving creator group led by Ryogo Matsumaru.

“Nazo-toki” (puzzle-solving) is enjoyed in various settings like videos, events, and social media, and continues to expand as a new entertainment culture. Through RIDDLER, who are at the forefront of this trend, we will introduce readers to the unknown world of puzzle-solving culture.

Since its formation in 2019, RIDDLER has conveyed the appeal of “nazo-toki” to a wide audience through platforms like the YouTube channel “RIDDLER’s Nazo-toki Channel” and live event performances. According to representative Ryogo Matsumaru, they are committed to creating puzzles that “everyone can enjoy,” and this year marks their 7th anniversary.

This special feature will include a three-way discussion with Ryogo Matsumaru, Kaito Fujimoto, and Kazuhiro Watanabe, as well as interviews with the creators who support RIDDLER. Additionally, Ryogo Matsumaru will explain the history and appeal of puzzle-solving culture.
