Expressor/ Getting up close and personal with Mizuki Umezu
"The current state of artists at the turning point of 10 years"

Mizuki Umezu is a unique artist whose diverse talents make him a must-watch, not only as an actor, but also as a writer for columns, novels, and the theatre group Genshiki, as well as a talent for painting and collage art, as shown in the zine Toge.

This time, CONTINUE will be bringing you a new photo shoot and interview to document "Umezu Mizuki's current whereabouts," a series that has been conducted four times in our sister magazine GIRLS CONTINUE (previous issues featured were GIRLS CONTINUE Vol. 3, Vol. 7, Vol. 10, and Vol. 13).

2025 was a year filled with challenges, starting with his starring role in the stage production of "Touken Ranbu," his signature work, which marked the beginning of broadening the scope of his activities, as well as a one-man play and the third performance of Genshiki, and also marking his 10th anniversary in the entertainment industry.

When talking about Umezu's activities, we cannot leave out the year 2025, and by looking back at himself from 10 years ago, what does Umezu think about his current situation? We spoke at length this year as well.

In the newly shots, Umezu is seen enjoying the art of ink and paper. He sharpens his mind while grinding the ink, and then lets his brush flow freely as his heart desires.

Enjoy the many photos of Umezu's signature outfit, combining a black kimono with a blue Chinese-collar blouse, and her beautiful manners.

The 33rd installment of the serial column "One Lives Remaining" is also included!

The cover and feature is Sega's last home video game console, the Dreamcast

A fierce battle fought with one's back against the wall─ ─That white console that resisted the fierce pursuit of the PlayStation 2, while producing innovative network functions, overwhelming arcade porting, and masterpieces such as "Shenmue," "Phantasy Star Online," "Space Channel 5," "SeaMan," and "Jet Set Radio."

The "dream" still burns in the hearts of all Sega fans - this long-awaited special feature on the Dreamcast unravels all of those bittersweet and beautiful days through interviews with those involved and in-depth reviews!
