The cover and lead feature of "Quick Japan" vol. 182 is the comedy duo New York.

This special feature, titled "The Charisma of Ordinary Talent," follows the duo in New York for about a year, covering them in detail at various locations, including YouTube shoots, TV show recordings, and solo concerts, to uncover the reasons why they have gained the trust of so many people and in so many different places.

Some of the coverage has already been released in advance on QJWeb , and the magazine will provide a more voluminous, three-dimensional portrayal of New York's current state.

They also interviewed BE:FIRST's LEO, Udaman, Tonjiru Free, and staff members who know them well. They revealed the charm of New York not just as comedians, but as people.

The book also includes a conversation between New York, who will be in his 40s in 2026, and senior comedian Nagano. The two discuss the ever-changing nature of comedians, with the theme of "the image of a senior comedian to look up to."

As a limited-time bonus, the QJ Store will also be selling a set of over 100 pages of diaries that the couple wrote every day for the entire year leading up to 2025.

Formed in 2010 (15th class of NSC Tokyo School), the duo consists of Yashiki Hiromasa and Shimasa Kazuya. They advanced to the finals of the M-1 Grand Prix in 2019 and 2020, and the King of Conte in 2020 and 2021.

BE:FIRST "Welcome World"

BE:FIRST will embark on their first world tour in 2025, visiting a total of 12 cities across Asia, Europe, and North America, and the third documentary film capturing the tour, "BE:the ONE -START BEYOND DREAMS-," will be released nationwide on Friday, February 6, 2026.

To commemorate the release, MANATO, SHUNTO, and RYUHEI appear on the back cover and in the special feature "Welcome to the World." The three look back on their first world tour along with the film. Their words convey their commitment to putting "music first" no matter how far their stage takes them.
