The cover and lead feature of "Quick Japan" vol. 182 is the comedy duo New York.

In a past interview, the two said, "I hope we can create a good image of what a comedian is, for the sake of future comedians." Now that there are many different ways to succeed as a "comedian," what path will they take?

We followed him closely for a year in New York as he aims to reach the next level before turning 40, and he discusses what it means to be a successful comedian.

Formed in 2010 (15th class of NSC Tokyo School), the duo consists of Yashiki Hiromasa and Shimasa Kazuya. They advanced to the finals of the M-1 Grand Prix in 2019 and 2020, and the King of Conte in 2020 and 2021.
