In January 2025, the play "Lychee Light Club," based on Usamaru Furuya's cult-favorite comic "Lychee Light Club" (published by Ohta Publishing), which depicts the madness and aesthetics of boys, will be staged. This will be the fourth stage adaptation in approximately nine years, and playing the lead role of Zera is actor Akira Makishima, who has been active in numerous stage productions and has attracted attention in a wide range of fields, including music and artistic activities. Mr. Makishima, who was originally a reader of the original work, spoke about his impressions of the work and his thoughts on the upcoming stage production. (Total 24 pages)
