◆ Hideshi Hino

Manga artist. Born on April 19 , 1946 in Qiqihar, the former Manchuria.
Since his debut in 1967 , he has created numerous eerie and lyrical worlds, such as "Zoroku's Strange Disease" and "Hell Screen," primarily for magazines such as "Garo," "Shonen Gaho," and "Shonen Sunday," and has established himself as a popular leader in the horror manga world.
His works are highly acclaimed not only in Japan but also overseas, and many of his works have been translated into Japanese.
In recent years, he has been very active as a lyrical horror writer, creating picture books and other works.
