The "Kyofushin-ten" (Fear Exhibition), which attracted over 130,000 visitors and generated significant buzz, is now available as a book. This volume delves into "fear" in ways only a book can.
It fully compiles numerous exhibits created by a stellar lineup of creators—Nashi, who worked on the "Missing Persons Exhibition," 株式会社闇 (K.K. Yami), and Tokio Omori—all centered on the theme of "fear."
In addition to the content displayed at the exhibition, the book includes one original, never-before-seen exhibit.
It also features a newly written column by Akutagawa Prize-winning author, Risa Wataya.

The column written by Da Vinci Kyoyama (Yu Shinada) and included in the exhibition pamphlet is also re-recorded.

■Specifications

Special inserts to "experience" three types of fear

The special edition already exudes an unusual presence from its exterior. The cover uses aluminum-vaporized paper and features a special embossed design.

The three edges of the book are painted silver, giving it a cold, dull gleam.

Furthermore, it includes special insert visuals that materialize three types of fear, appealing to human physiology and instincts. Utilizing advanced printing and processing techniques, visual discrepancies and discomfort are three-dimensionally reproduced.

▶︎Fear of microorganisms

An object of a hand with flourishing germs was photographed with transmitted light and printed life-sized on tracing paper. This evokes the sensation of touching something that shouldn't be touched.

UV clear thick printing expresses visual discomfort in three dimensions. The irregularities stimulate not only sight but also touch.

A visual change experience through lenticular printing. The image changing with the angle amplifies anxiety.
