MOTHER 2: Giygas's Counterattack was released by Nintendo Co., Ltd. for the Super Famicom in 1994. The book includes not only the "Secrets of MOTHER 2" exhibition, which displayed 30 years of development materials that had been sleeping in a warehouse, but also numerous never-before-seen materials that couldn't be displayed at the venue. Furthermore, it features a discussion among development staff Koichi Oyama, Yasushi Maruta, and Shogo Toda, as well as the days of MOTHER 2, which Shigesato Itoi described as his "second youth."

A permanent preservation edition, 30th-anniversary commemorative book for MOTHER 2, which captures the excitement and emotion of the "Secrets of MOTHER 2" exhibition and records all the creativity that culminated in MOTHER 2, as well as the work and thoughts of the creators, will be released in November 2024.

This store will be selling a limited number of copies with a large reversible poster featuring a large hand-drawn document that was displayed and garnered attention at the "Secrets of MOTHER 2" exhibition, and the main visual of the "Secrets of MOTHER 2" exhibition.
