■ Feature Details

YUMEKI and “Cats” Collaborate for the First Time!
Uncover the method that brings out individuality through his dance.

YUMEKI appears on the special edition cover and in the feature of “Quick Japan” vol. 186, on sale Wednesday, October 21, 2026!

YUMEKI is a world-renowned choreographer, dancer, and artist who began dancing at age 13 and has choreographed for famous artists in Japan such as M!LK, ME:I, and King & Prince, as well as ILLIT, ITZY, and NCT 127 in South Korea. In 2026, he choreographed the song “Neko (Cat)” featured in “PRODUCE 101 JAPAN – New World,” and both his catchy dance and his comments while teaching the choreography became a major topic of conversation.

In this photo shoot, he interacts with a “cat” that seems somewhat similar to him—appearing as a solitary genius while also having an awkward side—and graces the cover of the SPECIAL EDITION. This feature reveals the details of his approach to handling whimsical and captivating dance, as well as his teaching methods, uncovering YUMEKI’s method for bringing out individuality through dance.
