【Author Profile】
Shinya Komatsu
Born in Kochi Prefecture. Manga artist and illustrator. Debuted in 2004 with "Suiton Kiko" published in Axe magazine. In the same year, he received the 6th Axe Manga Newcomer Award and the Hideyasu Moto Individual Award. His main works include "Suiton Kiko" (Seirinkogeisha), "August Soda" (Ohta Publishing), "Tsurumaki-cho Summer Time" (Shinchosha), "Gogo no Akubi" (Aki Shobo), and the picture book "Mirai no Ichi Nichi" (Akane Shobo). "Gogo no Akubi" received the Special Jury Prize in the Children's Category at the Angoulême International Comics Festival in France in January 2024.
